Ignorant of Ignorance

A stupid man walks
down the street as
a stupid man,
up the hills as 
a stupid man.

He climbs his stairs 
like a stupid man
and when he falls, he stands
up again like a stupid man.

The stupid man has no boundaries,
no limits for his stupidity
so he thinks his feet are in the sky 
and his head in the stars.

The stupid man says
he wants to fly 
but forgets he has
wings. When he flies
he decides that 
the clouds are too high
to reach.

Stupid man, oh! Stupid man,
do not destroy humanity.
It is sad that mankind
depends on people like this
stupid man.

You see, the stupid man thinks he is
smart and everything else is
stupid.

He is ignorant of his own stupidity
so he does not know 
that he is a stupid man.

He walks about without understanding
the nature of 
Life. So what does he do?
He calls it stupid.

He does not know because
he doesn't want to
and when he does
he turns it into rubbish

this is the life of
a stupid man.
He will live and die
a stupid man.

Over & Done Searching for the light of day some say it doesn't exist find the sun now before it burns out some say that's not the case. What a waste of time down the wrong road  with the fastest cars having to run back with all that you have well, time is up. Too late. Do you know that it's over? They're closing the doors I told you before. Do you know why it's over? Why does the world have to end? Because we pretend that we don't know that it's over. It's over and done.

I was born running out of time in a world where nothing can be mine when will we realize it's a sad world for rich and unkind? I was born in a good gone bad box of decaying porous sand when will we realize it's a sad world for the dead and despised? I was born under the shadow of death a burden of fire and stones on my head when will we realize this illusion is for the dead, rich and unkind? I was born in a facade called despair danger and grace, a gift that we all share when will we realize there's nothing for smaller minds?
